Pretty sure most of you have seen and even understand the term ‘entrepreneur’. However, when asked ‘What is an entrepreneur?’ this is perhaps a question to ponder to ensure that you will come out with a correct and accurate answer. In certain situations, you even doubt your own answers. But nevertheless, the logical conclusion can be deduced from everyone for everyone has a different opinion. They tend to interpret the term ‘entrepreneur’ based on the perceptions and surface. To begin with, the term actually describes individuals who strive hard to produce something for the business in an attempt to make a profit and benefit the customers. In addition to that, entrepreneurs are risk takers for they take full responsibility on their own business.
Some think that entrepreneurs are similar to a business person and vice versa. Generally, entrepreneurs can take on roles as a businessman and indirectly are also ‘underground’ entrepreneurs. But bear in mind that not all business persons are entrepreneurs. This is because business person is an individual that sells items and goods to earn revenue by operating as an intermediary between entrepreneurs and the customers. In other words, the term ‘underground’ entrepreneurs refer to those who produce goods and subsequently, sell it to relevant and compatible industries. For example, entrepreneurs who produce bicycles sell the idea to manufacturing industries for assembling and selling purposes. However, a number of entrepreneurs in business industries come up with ideas merely to attract customers.
A fine example to demonstrate the above statement is when an entrepreneur uses a variety of concepts to attract customers’ attention. Hence, they can expand the businesses and generate double income. Among some of the concepts used are to lower the actual selling price, offer relevant and suitable services as long as it will not incur losses, discount cards, lucky draw for those who spend more than a fixed amount and plenty more. These are some of the fine examples demonstrated by the entrepreneurs who constantly work hard and take risks in every action.
